Hi I'm Tara! I am originally from NY, graduated from Bryant University in 1997 and moved to the south a few years later. I worked in the corporate world for 6 years when I realized it wasn't the right fit for me. I changed career paths and became a grooming apprentice to a Certified Master Dog Groomer in 2001. To improve on my wealth of knowledge about dogs, I started working at a vets office and continued to work there for three years. In 2005, I fulfilled my dreams and opened up Million Dollar Dog in Belmont, NC. As of 2021, we adapted to the changing times and moved from a storefront to offering mobile grooming services to the Piedmont of the Carolinas.
Hello I'm Bob! I was born and raised in Rhode Island, met Tara at Bryant University and graduated from Rhode Island College in 1998. We moved to North Carolina in 1999 and I worked in management for an amazing ride of 20+ years. I became skilled in team building and customer relationships. Then I started helping here and there with Tara and Million Dollar Dog before deciding to officially come on board in 2020.

MDD is a family business (you may catch our children Mia Rose and Mason helping out) but it's our amazing team that makes our business what it truly is. They are our MDD family and we could not have gotten where we are without them.

I took my yellow lab here when we were evacuated from the hurricane in charleston. They went above and beyond to fit him in on a busy Saturday for a VERY last minute appointment. He smelled and looked wonderful afterward and I really appreciated their being so kind to him! Hope to bring him back during our future travels!
